This Pen’s for Hire

johnn a 5Hello Everyone,

My name is John Adair and I love writing.

Many of you know me because I either helped you buy a home, refinance a loan, or saved your home from bank repossession and helped you get a lower payment. Others know me through the volunteer work I did for a couple different organizations. The common thread throughout has always been the writing. When doing loans, I was the Editor for two Newsletters; one in CA and the other in NV. When I served on the Neighborhood Council, I wrote and/or co-wrote all the newspaper articles informing local residents on the latest votes, issues affecting our community and upcoming events.

It doesn’t always come easy to me, but I’ll wrestle with it ‘till the words jump off the page and grab a hold of the reader’s interest. That’s when a story comes alive and makes a connection.

Currently, I’m a ghost writer for a client’s personal blog. She’s a multi-talented executive and respected business leader. She’s an amazing speaker, teacher, motivator, organizer, and radio talk show host, but writing has never been her thing. And her time is limited.

That’s where I come in.

If you’re looking for a special piece for a magazine or newspaper article, this pen’s for hire.

If you want to express yourself in a more deliberate and passionate way, or if you just want to communicate more effectively, I’m your guy.

If you’re recognizing and/or awarding law enforcement personnel, District Attorneys, civic or business leaders, and need honoree ‘write-ups’; give me a call, we can work it out.

With writing, you have to think about how it reads. Does it have a theme? Are you staying on topic? Is it enjoyable and interesting to read? It should have a rhythmic pattern of sorts – and you should be able to feel the passion the fire the love the anger and excitement, or whatever other human emotions you wish to convey.

Why use me?  Aside from the fact that I’m a talented and dynamic writer;

  • My current client told me it’s spooky the way I can get into her head and say the kinds of things she wants to say. She says it’s like I’m her.
  • I work hard to put out a finished product that’s worthy of print. I’ll re-read a piece 10, 20, 30 times until it has ‘snap, crackle and pop’. In many instances, it’s got to sound like real people having a conversation.
  • I’m not famous nor am I well known outside my circle of 300 friends, loved ones, acquaintances and colleagues, so I can offer reasonable rates.

Call me so we can discuss it. 818/445-6100. All consultations are free of charge.

Thanks for listening. I look forward to working with You!
